Hours of Operation

NC History Center:

• Monday – Saturday: Open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Sunday: Open Noon – 5 p.m.
• Holiday Hours:
  • Closed on Thanksgiving Day
  • Closed for Christmas Break (Christmas Eve Dec. 24, Christmas Day and Dec. 26)
  • Closed on New Year’s Day

Tours of Governor’s Palace & Kitchen Office:

• Palace tours take place Monday – Friday 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; Sunday 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Kitchen Office is self-touring: Monday – Friday 11:15 – 3:30 p.m.; Saturday 11:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; Sunday 12:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Palace Gardens:

• Monday – Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Sunday noon – 6 p.m.

• Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Sunday: 1 – 5 p.m.
• An admission ticket is not required to visit the Museum Store
