Throughout the year we offer special symposiums and lectures on a broad range of inspiring subjects. Check our Calendar to see what is offered during your planned visit. Many visitors plan their visits around our special events, such as Glorious Fourth in July, Garden Lovers’ Weekends in April and October, Winterfeast in March, and our Candlelight Holiday Celebration in December.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Once you’ve set a date for your visit, plan on joining us at the North Carolina History Center (529 S. Front Street) in New Bern, North Carolina. Here you may purchase tickets, pick up maps and information, view an orientation film, and visit gallery exhibits. At the North Carolina History Center, you can explore exhibits and galleries and our Museum Store. Afterwards, have a relaxing meal overlooking the Trent River at Lawson’s on the Creek Café.
