RSVP: Pearl Harbor In Remembrance 75th Anniversary

Tryon Palace will commemorate the 75th anniversary on the attack on Pearl Harbor with a remembrance ceremony honoring the more than 2,300 Americans who died during the attack that officially began the United States' involvement in World War II.

The program will include a color guard presentation from the Marine Corps League, Cherry Point Detachment, recognition of a local Pearl Harbor survivor, and a keynote address from Col. Todd Ferry, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Commander.

A commemorative wreath and flags representing the five branches of the military will be displayed in Mattocks Hall, which is also located at the North Carolina History Center.
