Interactive crafts and activities, living history demonstrations on Sept. 19
Families, teachers and children of all ages are invited to enjoy Tryon Palace’s Fall Festival, held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.
Offered programs include interactive craft activities, blacksmith and cooking demonstrations, and a “Day in the Life” at Tryon Palace’s 19th-century Hay House.
Admission is included with the purchase of a One-Day Pass ($20 adults, $10 youth, free kindergarten and younger), which includes access to the Governor’s Palace, North Carolina History Center, gardens and historic homes.
Free admission will be granted to educators who provide a valid form of teacher ID—includes public, private and home school educators—and accompanying family members will receive discounted admission.
