Tryon Palace Celebrates Educators with Teacher Appreciation Day

NEW BERN, NC – Sept. 9, 2017

In appreciation of all educators, Tryon Palace will offer free admission for teachers on Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Teachers will receive a complimentary One Day Pass that includes access to the Governor’s Palace, North Carolina History Center, 16 acres of gardens and two historic homes situated around the palace. Accompanying family members will receive discounted admission. Different ticket options are available for tours of the North Carolina History Center, the Governor’s Palace and historic homes.

A valid form of teacher ID is required, and this offer is available to public, private and home school educators.
