See the North Carolina Symphony Perform at Tryon Palace

NEW BERN, N.C. – June 19, 2018
The North Carolina Symphony’s “Concerts in Your Community” will be visiting New Bern, June 26, at Tryon Palace. This event is free and open to the public; no ticket is required. Conducted by Wesley Schultz, the North Carolina Symphony invites guests to enjoy great moments in classical music, including Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Eine klein Nachtmusik,Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, and Berloiz’s Roman Carnival Overture.

This event will be on the South Lawn at Tryon Palace. Gates open to the public at 5 p.m. To enjoy music in this beautiful waterfront setting that borders the Trent River and is surrounded by beautiful gardens, Tryon Palace invites you to bring your own chairs, blankets, and dinner, but please leave pets and alcoholic beverages at home. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the Tryon Palace Fife & Drum Corps will entertain audiences, and the North Carolina Symphony performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
