Forty-five people from 32 different counties became citizens of the United States Wednesday, June 3, at the North Carolina History Center in downtown New Bern, N.C.
Tryon Palace hosted the Naturalization Ceremony, which was administered by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services department’s Raleigh-Durham field office.
The ceremony included the Oath of Allegiance, Pledge of Allegiance, Call of Nations, and the singing of the national anthem.
The countries represented included:
