The history of the Gaston family will be the focus of Tryon Palace’s next installment in its Lunch and Learn series, held Friday, Jan. 15, at noon in the North Carolina History Center.
William Gaston may be the most famous member of his family but many may not know he was married three times or that his daughters knew famous 19th-century architect Alexander Jackson Davis.
This monthly brownbag lunch series will be held in the Cannon Gateway Gallery, located inside the North Carolina History Center.
Tickets for each Lunch and Learn are $6 per person and free for Tryon Palace Foundation members. Each Lunch and Learn will begin at noon and guests will meet in Mattocks Hall inside the North Carolina History Center.
