Explore the Tryon Palace Costume Shop with Tryon’s Tots

Children invited to learn about Palace fashions Saturday, June 13

The Tryon’s Tots program invites children ages 3-5 to the Tryon Palace Costume Shop to learn about the clothing and fashions of the 18th century. The program will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13.
Children will learn about how people in the 18th century dressed and how the same types of clothes are made today. Afterward, each tot will have the chance to color his or her own set of paper dolls.
Tryon’s Tots is designed for individual families and space is limited to 20 children. Extra openings will be filled the day of the event on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are a Home School Group and would like to book a tour, please contact Group Services, 252-639-3524.
All Tryon’s Tots programs begin at the North Carolina History Center.
