"Holiday-Themed Tours" are included with your One-Day Pass and free for Foundation Members. The One-Day Pass includes admission to Governor’s Palace, historic homes, museum galleries in the North Carolina History Center, and more than 16 acres of breathtaking gardens.
Join us on a tour of the Governor's Palace and focus on the decorations for the upcoming "Christmas Belles: A Candlelight Christmas Celebration." Hadley Cheris, Tryon Palace Gardens and Greenhouse Manager, will lead a tour of the first floor of the Governor's Palace, describing the special items used in the decorations, sharing design tips, and explaining themes inspired by an 18th-century fascination with the East.

Start your 2019 Christmas Season in a memorable way by joining Tryon Palace for the third annual Chamber Music by Candlelight, featuring the Briarwood Ensemble. Join your fellow audience members and musicians for a post-concert reception at the Commission House, featuring festive beverages and delicious eats. Palace doors will open at 6:30PM. Tryon Palace Foundation Member pre-sale will take place Monday, September 30 - Friday, October 4. Tickets for the general public will go on sale Monday, October 7 and will end Sunday, December 1 at 11:59 p.m.
This famed North Carolina tradition returns to Tryon Palace in 2019 with beautiful, new decorations and heartwarming holiday vignettes illuminated by the magical glow of candlelight. Tours are held each Saturday night from 4:30-9:30pm. Click here for more details.
Beginning November 1, Tryon Palace will serve as a Toys for Tots donation location, with boxes for drop-off donations in the Waystation and at the North Carolina History Center.
