Your membership brings North Carolina's history to life.
Your membership is part of our history. It's how we began, it's who we are, and it's where we're going.
Tryon Palace opened to the public in 1959 because a small group of supporters had the dream of preserving our nation's history for future generations. That dream lives today in the form of the Governor's Palace, historic homes, handmade costumes, rare artifacts, interactive exhibits, beautiful gardens, and special events held throughout the year. At Tryon Palace, our nation's history comes to life daily, an experience that would not be possible without our members.
Members are important to our past, but even more valuable to our future. Just as it was more than half a cenutry ago, your membership in the Tryon Palace Foundation brings North Carolina's history to life.
