Winter in the Encampment. Join us for cooking on the campfire, woodworking and firearms demonstrations at our military encampment on the Palace Historic Site grounds.  Throughout the day there will be musket firing demonstrations at 10:15 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:15 PM, 2:15 PM and 3:15 PM.  Munitions and armament talks will take place at 11:00 AM, 12:00 Noon, and 1:00 PM at the site. 

Bad weather conditions will move the talks inside to the NC History Center.
