Selected by HBO for the Comedy Wings Competition, as part of the American Black Film Festival, Cyrus Steele has been performing onstage for years, but fell in love with stand-up comedy soon after graduating from college. From the small town of Savannah, Georgia, Cyrus moved to Atlanta in 2005, quickly establishing himself as one of ATL’s top comics and a master impressionist. In addition to Comedy Wings Competition, Cyrus has most recently performed for FOX’s “Showtime at the Apollo” and NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”
Opening act Lee Hardin is a stand-up comedian based in Nashville, Tennessee, and travels the country performing. Lee has appeared on the Darren Streblow Comedy Show and The Nashville Improv Company.
Doors open at 7:30p.m., with the show starting at 8:30p.m. This event is 18+. Snacks and beverages – including wine and beer – will be sold (alcohol purchases require a valid ID). Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. Proceeds from alcohol sales will benefit the Tryon Palace Foundation.
