This Mother’s Day weekend, step back in time and enjoy a Spring Tea at Tryon Palace. The tea will be served in the historic Commission House by costumed servers. Before tea, enjoy a tea-themed tour of the Governor’s Palace and a walk around the beautiful colonial revival gardens. With the purchase of a ticket, visitors can enjoy the 16 acres of Tryon Palace gardens all day.
Limited seating is available for 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. tours.
Registration deadline is May 5.
Tea will be served in the Commission House. There will be 2 sittings of 50 people. Visitors will purchase timed tickets for 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. The 1:00 p.m. sitting will tour the Palace and Gardens first, then will have tea at 2:00 p.m. in the Commission House. The 2:00 p.m. sitting will tour the Palace and Gardens first, then will have tea at 3:00 p.m. in the Commission House. Visitors should meet at the Palace inner gate.
