North Carolina Symphony returns to Tryon Palace South Lawn

Join us on the great South Lawn for an evening of light classics performed by the North Carolina Symphony.  This year’s program includes pieces by Mozart, Coleridge-Taylor, Rossini, Rodger, Copland, Bizet and Brahms, and includes such classics as Oklahoma, Carmen, Carousel and The Marriage of Figaro.

The Palace gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for guests to find a place on the lawn.  Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets.  You are welcome to bring a picnic dinner.  No Alcohol is permitted.

This concert is FREE and open to the public.  New this year is that Security at the Entry Gates will be checking all bags and backpacks.
