North Carolina Symphony performance relocated to Riverfront Convention Center
Tonight’s performance of the Symphony has been relocated to the Riverfront Convention Center due to rain! Same time and program. Free to attend.
If you were attending the benefit prior to the performance that too has been relocated to the Convention Center.
Relocated..…Join us on the great South Lawn for an evening of light classics performed by the North Carolina Symphony. This year’s program includes pieces by Mozart, Coleridge-Taylor, Rossini, Rodger, Copland, Bizet and Brahms, and includes such classics as Oklahoma, Carmen, Carousel and The Marriage of Figaro.
The Palace gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for guests to find a place on the lawn. Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets. You are welcome to bring a picnic dinner. No Alcohol is permitted.
This concert is FREE and open to the public. New this year is that Security at the Entry Gates will be checking all bags and backpacks.
