NC Symphony Performance – Freedom Celebration

The NC Symphony is back at Tryon Palace with Concerts In Your Community. This event is free to the public on Tryon Palace’s South Lawn. Bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the symphony al fresco.

This year’s performance is in honor of Juneteenth. Celebrate American musical culture created and influenced by African Americans, with music by Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, William Grant Still, and NC Symphony Composer-in-Residence, Anthony Kelley.

Pets and alcohol are not allowed.
Gates open at 5:30 PM.
