Never say die! This 1985 classic holds a special place in our hearts. It is a story about a band of adventurous kids who take on a development company which plans to destroy their homes to build a country club. When the children discover an old pirate map in the attic, they follow it into an underground cavern in search of lost treasure, but run into plenty of dangerous obstacles along the way.
Doors open at 5:30 PM; the movie will begin at 6 PM. Join us before the movie for a meet-and-greet with a Pirate!
This film was rated PG in 1985. Today, though it’s still PG, we hold it to the PG13 definition. It runs approximately 1 hr 54 min.
Admission is free and seating will be determined on a first come, first served basis. Beverages with lids and dry foods welcome. The Tryon Palace Museum Store will also be selling light concessions.
