Garden Lecture Series - June

Saturday, June 8, 2019 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

"Pretty is as Pretty Does"

Our 2019 garden lecture series continues, Saturday, June 8 with “Pretty is as Pretty Does”, a pollinator lecture presented by Tryon Palace Gardens and Greenhouse Manager, Hadley Cheris.

The lovely world of insects that makes up the pollinator class is full of beautiful butterflies, majestic moths and buzzing bees, not to mention all our tinier pollinators (flies, ants, beetles, etc). However, due to the reproductive trait of living things- these organisms can also be a bit pesky at times. Learn how to mitigate these behaviors while protecting pollinators and yourself!

This lecture is free and begins at 10 a.m. in Cullman Performance Hall at the North Carolina History Center.
