Be our guest for the first installment of our summer movies series and watch one of our favorite princess movies of all time, Beauty and the Beast (1991). This is the animated story of an arrogant young prince and his castle's servants that fall under the spell of a wicked enchantress. She turns him into a hideous Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return. The spirited, headstrong village girl Belle enters the Beast's castle after he imprisons her father. With the help of his enchanted servants, Belle begins to draw the cold-hearted Beast out of his isolation.
The film will begin at 6:30 p.m. Arrive between 6 p.m. and showtime for an opportunity to meet Princess Belle!

Admission is free and seating will be determined on a first come, first served basis. Beverages with lids and dry foods welcome. The Tryon Palace Museum Store will also be selling light concessions.
