Tryon Palace will mix history with craft beers during “Palace Pours: Pumpkins & Pies” Wednesday, Nov. 8. The event will be held on the Kitchen Office Patio at the Governor’s Palace at 5:30 p.m.
The November Palace Pours will feature samples of pumpkin beers, mulled wine and hard ciders. A costumed interpreter will lead a discussion about historical cooking and the holiday season, while also discussing historical beverages, drinking games and more.
“Pumpkins & Pies” is part of Palace Pours, an after-hours look at history while enjoying craft beers or wines at rotating locations around Tryon Palace.
Palace Pours is open to ages 21 and over. A ticket price of $12 includes a flight of craft beer (three 4-ounce samples) and additional beer will be available for purchase. Non-alcoholic beverages also available.
