NEW BERN, NC – Sept.29, 2017
Cornhole players are invited to register for the Governor’s Challenge Cornhole Tournament presented by the Home Builders Association of Craven and Pamlico Counties. The Governor’s Challenge Cornhole Tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 29, on the Tryon Palace South Lawn.
Team registration is $150 per two-person team (plus $5 online processing fee), which includes lunch, snacks, and beverages. Proceeds from this event will be used to support the construction of a new garden maintenance building at Tryon Palace.
Tryon Palace is offering free garden admission during the event for spectators and visitors. No outside coolers will be permitted.
The tournament will begin at 11 a.m. with an opening toss from Royal Governor William Tryon.
