NEW BERN, N.C. - May 11, 2018
Outlander fans will have something extra to get excited about while visiting Tryon Palace this summer. A new exhibit Artifacts of Outlander will open at the North Carolina History Center May 16. The exhibit will feature Colonial artifacts related to the detailed history and setting found in the Outlander book and television series. The main characters in the series make their way to Colonial North Carolina at the outset of the American Revolution, and Tryon Palace is a featured backdrop for many scenes in the story.
On loan from the Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum in St. Leonard, Maryland, Artifacts of Outlander will be free to visitors at the North Carolina History Center, May 16 - September 2.
