June 20: Palace Contemporaries: Summer Solstice Party 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Come mingle with your contemporaries on the Kitchen Garden Patio. Join our Gardens Manager in the Kitchen Garden and explore the history of medicinal herbs. Learn how to prepare a delicious summer cocktail, from a professional mixologist, that will keep your Summer Solstice party energized through the longest day of the year. Refreshments and fun activities will be provided. Alcohol will be available for purchase at the event. Tickets are $5 for Palace Contemporaries members and $10 for guests and go on sale May 20 here. Accompanying children 17 and under are free.
Oct. 10: Fall Heritage Plant Presale and Reception 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Stock up on mums and celebrate Autumn with the Foundation at the Fall Heritage Plant Presale and Reception. Come for the light refreshments and wine, and stay for early access to the limited supply of fall plants at the annual Fall Heritage Plant Sale. Beat the weekend crowds, pick the best varieties, and get gardening advice from the skilled gardeners at Tryon Palace. The Eden Street gate will be open to Foundation members from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

A truly beautiful holiday tradition, Chamber Music by Candlelight sold out in 2018. Enjoy chamber music in the Governor’s Mansion’s Council Chamber, and join the musicians for an intimate cocktail reception after the performance. A truly unique event, tickets are very limited.
