Lunch and Learn Series

Pack a lunch and learn about the characters and cultures that populated Tryon Palace and the surrounding areas of New Bern throughout history during our Lunch and Learn series. Covering a variety of topics, Lunch and Learn is monthly series held at the North Carolina History Center.

If you have toured Tryon Palace or wandered through the Regional History Museum or Pepsi Family Center you may be familiar with the Stanly family, 18th-century dining culture, the lives of palace servants, and more of the Palace's history but these lunches will take you deeper into the history of the Palace and the people of historic New Bern.

Tickets for each event are $6 per person and free for Tryon Palace Foundation members. Each Lunch and Learn will begin at noon and guests will meet in Mattocks Hall inside the North Carolina History Center.

Seating is limited and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
