Hours of Operation

Tryon Palace is only closed the following days: Thanksgiving Day, December 23-27 (2017), and January 1-2. For the rest of the year, hours are as follows:

Monday through Saturday
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Governor’s Palace has guided tours every half hour, beginning at 10 a.m. and the last tour is at 3 p.m. The Kitchen Office is a self-paced building open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Dixon and Stanly houses have guided tours from 12:30-3:30 p.m. The North Carolina History Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, and the Pepsi Family Center opens daily at 10 a.m. Check with the ticket desk for additional information and specific tour times.

For January and February the Dixon and Stanly houses will only be open for tours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Sunday
Noon to 5 p.m.
