Carraway Garden

Carraway GardenLocated directly behind the Visitor Center, the Carraway Garden was named in memory of Gertrude Carraway, who spearheaded the effort to restore the Palace and then served for many years as the first Director of the Tryon Palace Restoration.

The Carraway Garden is a parterre garden. It uses both modern and historic plants in its seasonal displays.
