Medicinal and Culinary Properties of Herbs topic of May Tryon Palace Garden Lecture

The medicinal and culinary properties of herbs will be the subject of the free Tryon Palace Garden Lecture Series Saturday, May 13, at 10 a.m. at the North Carolina History Center in downtown New Bern.

Tryon Palace gardens and greenhouse manager Hadley Cheris will focus on ways to incorporate medicinal and culinary herbs into home gardens, and emphasize some of the special companion plant properties herbs can offer. 

This lecture is free and begins at 10 a.m. in Cullman Performance Hall at the North Carolina History Center.
